| Last Man Standing....
I just found out that the company that I am working for are no longer hiring male tutors. I am the only guy left. The other guy who was hired before me was fired last Monday.
My one and only student ended his 20-day class last night. I still don't know if he is going to enrol again.
Our supervisor said the reason why the company is no longer hiring male tutors is that most of the Korean students prefer female tutors.
I fear that in a few days, I might suffer the same fate as the other male tutor.
My co-workers said I need not worry. I signed a 12-month contract.
| I am sick!!!!!
I have a runny nose and a sore throat. And when I cough, it sonds like someone is firing a gun. This is just the second time this year that I got sick. And based on my past experiences, when I get sick, I really get sick! I hope I can get well soon......
I found this website while browsing one of my Korean friend's homepage. I tried using the different pictures I had during the past two years. Here are the results.....

| MORE TO LIFE
I've got it all, but I feel so deprived I go up, I come down and I'm emptier inside Tell me what is this thing that I feel like I'm missing And why can't I let it go
There's gotta be more to life... Than chasing down every temporary high to satisfy me Cause the more that I'm... Trippin' out thinkin' there must be more to life Well it's life, but I'm sure... There's gotta be more
I've got the time and I'm wasting it slowly Here in this moment I'm half-way out the door Onto the next thing, I'm searching for something that's missing
I'm wanting more
I'm always waiting on something other than this Why am I feelin' like there's something I missed....
this song best describes how I feel abot my life these days....
| I was in Bataan last weekend for the celebration of the 18th birthday of my younger sister. It was like a family reunion of some sort, because most of the guest were just my relatives from my father's side. It was just a simple celebration. With our family's current financial crisis, we cannot afford a big party for our youngest. But as part of the Filipino custom, the celebration must go on. In the Philippines, turning 18 (21 for guys) is such a big milestone that you should let everyone know. When I turned 21, I was in the laboratory, wasting my time on my thesis that will fail eventually.
Then I remember my own birthday celebration last month. I asked for a cash advance from my meager salary, but it was not enough. If it were not for my co-teachers (special mention:Jakong) and my Korean students (they provided most of the drinks. ), my 22nd birthday party wouldn't have been complete. Well, so far, My 22nd birthday party was the best birthday party I had.
with my nephew and uncle.
just me!

| BROWN PENNY
I whispered, 'I am too young,' And then, 'I am old enough'; Wherefore I threw a penny To find out if I might love. 'Go and love, go and love, young man, If the lady be young and fair.' Ah, penny, brown penny, brown penny, I am looped in the loops of her hair.
O love is the crooked thing, There is nobody wise enough To find out all that is in it, For he would be thinking of love Till the stars had run away And the shadows eaten the moon. Ah, penny, brown penny, brown penny, One cannot begin it too soon.
Here it Spoken.
I first heard this poem when I was watching "Must Love Dogs" .......
